About this Coffee

 

One could almost say an oasis of organic farming and thus a true paradise for our coffee. Las Lajas has been in the family for three generations now and organic thinking inspires Franciska and Oskar to ever better results.

 

Harvest & post-harvest

 

Alma Negra - Natural is a speciality of Finca Las Lajas. This coffee was dried directly in the sun for 10 days and regularly turned. 
Then the cherries were put in bags for 3 days to influence the fermentation, last but not least the coffee was put on raised beds to ferment further.
