Darjeeling

Region and city in West Bengal, in the northern part of India, the Eastern part of the Himalayas with an average elevation above 2000 metres. The region was popular as a summer retreat for British officials and soldiers in the 19th century. Tea plantation started in the mid 1800s as an alternative to Chinese trade.

FTGFOP

Short for Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, a whole leaf black tea grade. Only the highest quality black tea leaves are put into this category.

Ingredients: black tea

 

Storage advice: Store in a cool, dark and dry place. Protect from foreign odours.

 

Preparation: Pour with boiling water and let to steep for 3 - 5 minutes
