About this Coffee
One could almost say an oasis of organic farming and thus a true paradise for our coffee. Las Lajas has been in the family for three generations now and organic thinking inspires Franziska and Oskar to ever better results. The Perla Negra is the PEARL of the farm.
Harvest & post-harvest
Perla negra - Natural is a speciality of Finca Las Lajas. This coffee was dried directly in the sun for 10 days and regularly turned. Then the cherries were put in bags for 3 days to influence the fermentation, last but not least the coffee was put on raised beds to ferment further.
